I have always working with the hand-dyed fabrics from Cherrywood. Add to that mix that I've always wanted to do a house quilt - and, viola, Ryokan was born!

All twelve houses are exactly alike in design but all use different Japanese fabrics. The small 6" Cherrywood blocks are intended to resemble Amish-style quilts.
